Berlin Animation Hub
The 7th Festival of Animation Berlin once again brings national and international players from the animation film industry to Berlin at the end of September. After six festival editions and extremely positive feedback on networking and business activities during the festival (pitching, get-togethers, master classes, panels), we are expanding our festival in this regard and will be hosting the “Berlin Animation Hub” for the first time in 2023. With this step, we are specifically strengthening Berlin as a production location and becoming an exchange platform for inter:national co-productions.
After all, Berlin is a conurbation for production companies and studios for animated film as well as animators, CGI experts, motion graphic artists, directors, storyboard artists and many more. During the Berlin Animation Hub, events will take place on two festival days, addressing both commissioning and commissioning parties as well as industry professionals and newcomers.

CONNECT ACTORS…
facilitate collaborations between commissioners (studios, VoD platforms, broadcasters) and contractors and place projects internationally.
ESTABLISH A LONG-TERM TRADE FAIR
Offer a platform to hardware and software manufacturers and
introduce new talent to headhunters.
& EDUCATE!
Skill sharing through pitching workshops, case studies and studio presentations.
