Animation films for children and teenagers
The PINK PANDA selection comprises short animated film screenings for children of three age groups: Preschool children, primary school children and teenagers. Screenings will take from 40 minutes for the youngest up to 75 minutes for the older viewers. The winner will be chosen by our jury.

Student animated short films in competition
Short films directed by young filmmakers will be presented in the NEW TALENTS competition in two screening sessions. The winner will be awarded by the jury.

National competition of animated short films
The GERMAN ANIMATION competition comprises a variety of the latest German animation films and is accompanied by the opening ceremony of FAB2020. The winner will be chosen by the jury.
The prize for the best German animation film is donated by AG Animationsfilm.
International competition of animated short films
In five screenings we will showcase outstanding short animated films from around the world in this INTERNATIONAL ANIMATION competition, including two Stop Motion Specials. The jury will decide the upon the winner.
