PITCHING WORKSHOP FOR FILMMAKERS
Easy Pitching

Pitching lies at the core of the creative industries. It is not enough to simply have a good idea. We want to share our idea and our artistic vision with the world and inspire others. It’s more than just a transactional move. In order to sell your project, it has to become apparent why your project is relevant here and now. Not only is pitching a crucial part of the work, it helps us as artists to heighten our own ideas and see them from another angle. This workshop will address all aspects of a short pitching presentation.

Different experiences, sometimes even unpleasant ones, may transform into an impulse to tell a story. Working on that story and its characters is a process of self-exploration as understanding yourself better can help understanding and defining your characters and how they will meet their fate. In turn, this process might also have an impact on you. Anete Melece speaks on this procedure while working on her animated stories.
