Woodblock Animation Studio: Freud und Leid eines wachsenden Animationsstudios

Mit ihrem Talk vermitteln Helen Choi und Ilija Brunck vom Berliner und Ludwigsburger Animationsstudio Woodblock ihre Sicht auf die Entwicklung des Studios von einer kleinen, intimen Crew zu einem mittelgroßen Studio mit 50 Mitarbeiter*innen. Dabei wird es um die einzigartigen Herausforderungen gehen, aber auch um die positiven Benefits, die mit diesen Challenges einhergehen.

Das Sinnema Animation Studio orientiert sich an Projekten und Partnern, die Sinn suchen, finden oder auch geben wollen. Das machen wir z.B. mit NGOs, wie Oxfam, DKH, STC, Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung, Ministerien und Museen u.a. Die Kraft von Medien ist groß und wir sind uns dessen bewusst und wollen das in unserer Arbeit, ob mit Partnern oder bei eigenen Projektentwicklungen, stets einfließen lassen.

Woodblock Animation Studio: Joys and pains of a growing animation studio

In this talk, Helen Choi and Ilija Brunck from Berlin and Ludwigsburg-based animation studio Woodblock will share their perspective on the journey of growing the studio from a small intimate crew to a mid-size studio of 50. The audience will learn about the unique challenges and rewards that come with this transformation. The goal is to share knowledge and help others get positive results quicker.

The Sinnema Animation Studio focuses on projects and partners who are looking for and/or want to give meaning. For example, with NGOs such as Oxfam, DKH, STC, Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, ministries and museums and more. We are aware of the power of media and whether it’s with our partners or within the development of our own projects we’ll always take that into consideration.
