“Special Mention for an humouristic rollercoster of a film about cancer treatment. The film makes excellent use of the animation medium through it´s black & white characters´ shapes and changes in the space. The close encounter with Death is told with great humour and empathy.

Pauline Kortmann – FOX FOR EDGAR

“The animated film fox Edgar by Pauline Kortman convinces us without words, it shows how important togetherness and shared experiences are to avoid a dull everyday life. We especially like the fact that not only children but also adults can learn from the story. Sometimes it is important that parents see through the eyes of their children so that the world becomes a little more colorful.”

“ ‘The peculiar crime of oddball Mr Jay’, a richly detailed stop motion film by Bruno Caetano, takes us into a world that is only worth living in again if you fight for your dreams and don´t give up hope. Because life is a tree with many branches and possibilites.”
